Need windows & SQL client access license(CAL) or not?

To deploy the BES, do we need to purchase windows client access license(CAL) and SQL CAL for every BES client PC?

Hi jourdan,

We aren’t experts in MS licensing so we can’t advise you on that… but because of the complexity of determining SQL Server licensing schemes regarding CALs, we recommend that you use processor-based licensing. See http://support.bigfix.com/cgi-bin/kbdirect.pl?id=155 for more details.

Yes. We 24x7 L1 support and on-call L2/L3 support for all regions. Your exact support model and first point of contact will depend on your contract.

Sorry, allow me out of topic for a while…

I heard that US region is having conflict with Asia region in term of service support?(not provide support until sort out the thing) is’t true?

Our company is going to deploy assest & inventory management system. Asia region saying that they won’t sell the product until settled down the conflict. We’re worry if cannot get the support from your site.

We don’t have any conflicts in the Asia region that I know of… We have multiple BigFix staff and partner companies all around the world and in many countries in Asia.

It sounds like you need to talk to a BigFix sales person or BigFix partner to get you some specific answers on some of these concerns.
