Need to understand the use of swf shockwave files and its dependencies

Please assist, In a recent scan on Windows and UNIX servers found shockwave files (.swf) located in BigFix directories installed on Windows and HPUX servers
Shockwave leverages Adobe Flash Player which is end of life December 31, 2020.
Browsers (Microsoft and Chrome) will remove Flash Player in Jan 2021.

Wanted to understand that the mentioned files are used or only installed and not used? Please suggest on this.

Please see BigFix - Flash announcement and subsequent release announcements over the last couple of weeks as we move more dashboards off of Flash.
For some time while we transition, have both the old Flash and the new non-Flash dashboards available so you may still see the .swf files in the console cache areas.
