Creating a custom copy of this fixlet and changing the download from Microsoft’s server to be “https” instead of “http” worked. Looks like this fixlet needs to be modified to use https.
The use of https vs. http in that fixlet was corrected with the Patches for Windows site version 3967. Make sure you have the latest site gathered and you should be good to go. You can check the site version you currently have by looking at the site itself like this … you can also force a gather this way also - just click the Gather button. It will take several minutes to update.
Yep, we’re running version 3,967. Still has http:// for the URL.
These fixlets also have http instead of https and fail to download as configured by HCL:
5002141: Update for Office 2016 - Office 2016 - KB5002141
5002132: Update for project 2016 - project 2016 - KB5002132 (note “project” is in lower case in the fixlet)
Ah. Sorry, I misread your post completely. We heard of issues with httpS URLs not working reliably so some content, including this, was updated to use http instead. However, the http URL is working normally. I’m not getting any cert warnings. Maybe give it another shot?
Receive same error… was able to download directly but fails through bigfix with the same error message. as above… it is downloading with HTTP but yielding the HTTP: Error 60 message
