fixlet id: 1310131
kb2887069
I downloaded and installed it manually, but the computers still show as needing the fixlet. I think there is a problem in the relevance. Can you investigate and re-publish updated fixlets for this patch for KB2887069?
I think the files in the relevance don’t change after it’s installed, only a new wdmaudio.pnf is re-created,
why can’t it work like the CBS / IPD mechanism in windows?

It is a bit tricky that no file has been updated after installation. We didn’t observe this during our in house testing.
But we can add a CBS check to the existing relevance to check the existence of KB2887069. I hope the attached the custom copy can help you a bit.

Sylvia

Hi Sylvia,
Thanks for prompt reply, I have tested it and I see it’s now appears as remediated / fixed / not relevant etc.,
Also this CBS key is one of the proposed methods by Microsoft to verify patch applicability,
