This might extend to other areas of BigFix, but this is what I’d like to see…
Parenthesis in the GUI when you are making your group, so you can do things like this…
(Include all machines from OU=XXX, All machines that have XXX in the name) But don’t include any machines with name XXX
I’m sure some smarty-pants will come up with a way to do what I’m requesting another way (relevance or something).
Right now if you do something like this, you’ll end up with a TON more machines than you wanted because the “Don’t include any machines with name XXX” will actually give you all of the machines minus this, not take from the list I’ve already built and subtract this selection from it.
This could also be accomplished with a better AND/OR interface with multiple lines.
