Migrating hardware...how much do I actually have to do on the new server?

Simple question, probably complicated answer.

How many of the little details to I need to see to on the new server that aren’t going to be overwritten by the restore from the old server? I’m thinking about things like server certificates, SAML authentication settings, Roles, site subscriptions, etc.

Or do I just set up the new server completely and what gets overwritten gets overwritten?

For the most part, you’re going to have to decrypt/encrypt the server signing keys: https://bigfix-wiki.hcltechsw.com/wikis/home?lang=en-us#!/wiki/BigFix%20Wiki/page/Server%20signing%20key%20Tool

Then reinstall any plugins from the plugin dashboard and asset discovery service etc…
