Is it possible to migrate from a BigFix deployment on Linux/DB2 to Windows/SQL - for example, switching from 9.5.2 on Linux to 9.5.2 on Windows? My thinking is that there isn’t and it’s basically a start-all-over type of operation, but I thought I’d ask the experts and see what you think.

Hi Mark,
This is not possible BUT you could migrate using masthead migration.
Set aside part of your license for a new server, install that then migrate your clients from one to the other, then increase your new license to use your full quotas again.
You will have to change hostname etc that way but you will retain your old database for any audit trail requirements you may have.
Other then that it will be a new install and then the same for all the clients. The migration route at least allows you to migrate the clients more easily.
Relays cannot be migrated and have to be uninstalled and reinstalled once their client component has been migrated over.
