Microsoft Office Communicator 2007

(imported topic written by MBARTOSH)

We are using SUA 1.3.1.597 with catalog May 20. There is no entry for Microsoft Office Communicator 2007. There is an entry for 2007 R2. I am not really sure how to add an entry, or if I should add an entry.

According to our VAR there is a licensing difference between Communicator 2007 and Communicator 2007 R2. I would like to set up separte contracts for these products, but there is no entry for Communicator 2007

The entry in SUA for Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 does not look correct to me, but I am not sure. Here is what it looks like.

Title Version > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2

Packages > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 - 2.*

Packages > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007*

Applications > Microsoft Office communicator 2007 R2

Without really knowing this stuff, it seems to me that it should look like this. Would someone confirm this?

Title Version > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007

Packages > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 - 2.*

Applications > Microsoft Office communicator 2007

Title Version > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2

Packages > Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2*

Applications > Microsoft Office communicator 2007 R2

Hello,

This missing version will be added to next catalog update which should be published in couple weeks.

I worked with Adam McDonald on PMR 47710,227,000 in an attempt to add the entry manually but we were unable to. We created the entries we thought were needed, but they never became visible even though the audit log said they were entered. Is there any way to manually add the entries needed?

Are the enteries we added that never appeared going to be an issue later on?

Hello, I see in PMR that you got the same answer that I did. It will be added in next catalog planned for July.

If you added the entry to catalog, yet it doesnt show/work you need to work with support.
