Hi Team,
How to find manufacturing date/ Age of the PC

value "SystemBiosDate" of key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\Description\System" of native registry as string
This likely depends on the OS and the OEM.
Dell has a utility called Dell Command Monitor that you can install that gives you access to this info through WMI which can be used with BigFix relevance.
Something like this might also be available in SMBIOS or WMI normally: https://bigfix.me/analysis/details/2994751
This is likely the date of the BIOS release, not the age of the computer.
I’ve been using this method for quite some time, but this no longer works on UEFI enabled computers.
does anyone have an idea how to pull the computer age?
maybe CPU manufacture date, or Motherboard manufacture date?
which manufacturers?
some of the info should be available through SMBIOS or WMI or with installing tools like Dell Command Monitor or by doing a query for the computer warranty info from an API.
hard to tell… i would say ~70% HP, ~15% lenovo and the rest are… the rest.
