Maintenance Windows without lock/unlock

We are wanting all our systems to be unlocked all the time. However, I want them to go in and out of maintenance windows during the set weekly times. Is it possible to do this without using the “Enforce Maintenance Window with Client Locking” action?

  1. I have the Maintenance Window parameters set on all the computers
  2. I have both the “In Maintenance Window” properties activated Globally (one in Master Action Site) and (one in BES Support)
  3. I have the Maintenance Window Analysis activated Globally (Site: BES Support)

Now that I’ve stopped the Enforce action and unlocked all the systems… it doesn’t seem to be changing the In Maintenance Window value?

Setting Maintenance Window through the Wizard - Will change the "In Maintenance Window" value true or false , when the time you mentioned will arrive.

Be default , this is just informative and can be used in the Patch Policy and Other Actions

The Unlock / Lock - is optional , and can be enforced with the tasks you mentioned.

Do you want to remove the maintenance window or to stop the Unlock / Lock procedure?
