We seem to be having some issues with the current set of Fixlets in the Patches for Mac OS X site. Specifically, the CONFIGURATION: Disable Automatic Update Checks (10.3+) fixlet and the MAINTENANCE: Run Daily / Monthly / Periodic Maintenance Script fixlets. The CONFIGURATION fixlet doesn’t seem to detect relevance correctly on 10.5.x and above. The MAINTENANCE fixlet seems to fail on 10.6.x.
Our Mac expertise is close to zero, so some handholding with your responses may be required.
