Low-Impact Log4j Detection on Windows and Linux (Looking for Volunteers)

Hi,

I am not affiliated with HCL, BigFix, IBM, Redhat, or Tivoli.

My company is working on building a low-impact way to check for log4j that doesn’t rely on a file system scan and thus can be run on high-impact machines currently in production to help identify their exposure status.

We’re looking for folks with Windows server and Linux server environments who would be willing to test the content and report back results for us.

We intend to make this content more broadly available once we have more testing results. The Windows content is available now and we hope to have the Linux content available sometime later tomorrow.

If you’re interested please send me a private forum message!

Looking for additional volunteers – we’ve run the Windows content on a couple thousand endpoints and we’ve had great results so far. Looking for volunteers for the Linux content as well!

Please send me a message here if you’re interested.
