Loop Evaluation Cycle Measurement

Hi all,

I know that there are various ways of inspecting the evaluation loop e.g.:
Average of last 10 cycles - average duration of evaluationcycle of client
Get the “heavy hitters” - track fixlets of evaluationcycle of client

Is there a way to get a “breakout” of the average loop times? i.e. Can I see the actual 10 results that are use to build the average?

I’m looking at a machine with a current average of 2-3 hours, but the usage profile data doesn’t seem to support it so breaking out the averages would be very useful.

And yes I’m getting obsessed by loop times at the moment. I’ve managed half the average times on our current estate, but it’s still way too high!

Take a look at the “Agent Performance Counters.bes” analyses available in the support link at:

Thanks - I’m using those, but I can only get the maximum cycle or the average of the last 10. Was hoping to get the breakout for the averages just to get a better overall view.

But thank you anyway - it’s appreciated!

Looking to test this analysis. It was migrated but is corrupt / 0kb file on HCL’s site.

I reported this through the feedback link on the site. Anyone have this file?

Try it again? The bes file came down ok via a zip file.

Edit: Nevermind… You are correct. A zero byte payload file in the zip.

0kb file…

I get the same outcome as DerrickD - the .zip arrives, but navigating the folders arrives at a single file that is 0 bytes.
