Locked machine result is "Not Relevant" Is that right?

Looking to use the ‘lock’ feature for computers in a group to keep them unaffected during a baseline. Those machines were untouched, but result of “Not Relevant”?

Question is the correct ‘result’ showing after the baseline is applied?

Maybe I was just expected the result to be ‘locked’?

Did you deployed the action with dynamic targeting or you with manual targeting?

Not Relevant
The Fixlet that this action addresses is not relevant on this machine. Before running the action, the BigFix Client checked the relevance for the action and it is no longer true or the BigFix Client checked the expiration time for the action and it is passed. Note that any intermediate status reported by a client for the actions that were not started is overwritten with “Not Relevant” at the expiration time. This is also true for a multiple action group and its component actions. For instance, if a component action of a multiple action group that was not started has reported the status of “Disk Job Limited”, then, at the expiration time the final status of the multiple action group and its component actions becomes “Not Relevant”.

Great link thank you. This document is somewhat - what causes my question on ‘locked’ machines results.

I understand the “not relevant” as it’s the validating if it’s in scope, but I was looking more for - validating it wasn’t relevant because of the ‘lock’.

IE - how do I show that it wasn’t relevant because it was locked? If that makes sense

It’s a question of timing. The permanent status will be Not Relevant. They would have a status of Locked during the period ot time before the action(s) expire(s). You can check this by looking at a client log on one of the Locked computers.

You mean that the machine was locked before the action started, and after the action expired the machine was unlocked - so you wish to know, after the action expired, if at that time, those machines were locked?
