Hello,

Using Fixlet I am trying to read locked file in windows c:\temp\test.log and linux /var/logs/test.log but because it is locked and continuously written I am unable to read specific keyword “Connected to”.

Is there any way using BigFix so that I can read locked file and write customized output to “c:\temp\output.txt” and /tmp/output.txt?

Yes, you can use the locked lines of file inspector to retrieve content from files that are locked for writing (like log files).

locked lines whose (it contains "Connected to") of files ("c:\temp\test.log";"/var/logs/test.log")
