We have to extract Report for Linux version pre and post patching can any one help ?
Linux pre and post patching means after patching activity is completed then can we extract the previous version details
could you give any example ?

Hello! This desire makes sense, but I do not use the Fixlets. I used RedHat Satellite and simply do a “yum update.”
After I perform a “yum update,” I run “yum history info” that gives the output you desire. I shoot this information to a file in a controlled directory on this system, so this may not be ideal for you, but for us it is good enough to have a centralized directory of update paths.
Here is a sample output of “yum history info,” which looks at that most recent transaction:
