One of our Linux Admins is planning to use cGroups in Red Hat to limit a collection of “Tools”, including BigFix, to no more than 50% of CPU.
Has anyone had any experience doing this with the BES client? I’m wondering if cgroups set an “upper limit” or if they “steal cycles” to limit the CPU utilization?
