Linux Catalog is too small

Compared to the Windows catalog, the Linux catalog is severely lacking.

Are there any plans to expand this?
Are there any downloadable catalogs that can identify additional applications?

Manually adding applications is tedious and the results aren’t as good as apps defined in the catalog.

The BFI team is continuously expanding the discovery methods for various OS and vendors. There are no downloadable catalogs that can be imported. How ever, some users post custom signatures to https://bigfix.me/signature that can be downloaded and imported into BFI.

Are there specific software that you see missing? if so please open a case with HCL BFI support and they can forward the details to the Catalog team

The ones I’m concerned with at the moment are CrowdStrike, LogRhythm and Nessus.
