Lifecycle Management and Server automation Licensing

Hi ,

We have Lifecycle management subscription for all the clients and we bought server automation separately for 200 clients.

Now as the Server automation a part of Lifestyle. Can we use complete Server automation module for all clients as its clubbed in Lifecyle.

Hi Swapnil,

Yes, I believe that is the case - anything you can use lifecycle with, you should also be able to use Server Automation with. Are you seeing something different? Are you still being limited to 200 endpoints?

Nothing as such . Its just that when we bought we got for 200 Servers. If i want i can enable for all endpoints …but that’s where my question Are we compliant if we are using ?

Hi Swapnil,

Yes, the current license you have for Lifecycle will supersede the license you had previous to SA becoming part of Lifecycle.
