Launching a silent administrative command prompt in Win2008R2 env

Hello all,

I’m trying to determine a means of having TEM perform a dos command that requires administrative escalation silently and then close the window. However I am unsure how to call an administrative command prompt though an action script. Can someone please advise on the syntax?

I’m no expert on the Windows side of TEM (Unix background :wink: ) but I’m pretty sure that actions run as local administrator anyway. In the fixlets that are supplied by IBM that run the cmd command in the action script just do a ‘waithidden cmd.exe /C’ and then whatever it is they want to run.

There’s loads of examples in the fixlets in the Windows sites.
