Hi,

Is there any analysis available to capture Last Patch Date for Non windows OS.

Option is there to read the file which hold the information of last package install/uninstall on LINUX/UNIX.

I tried & was able to get info on redhat server /var/log/yum.log but its seems to providing info for some of server not all, some results are “none” I dont know what does that mean, also Suse also hold the same file but results are in “error”.

Any suggestion please, there is one more option which allow us to run a task on each server & getting their patch date into a file & then calling that file content into bigfix but its kind of manual activity.
