Laptop Patching Policies?

Hi everyone,

Interested in hearing how your company’s patch your laptops… We have laptops across a WAN with about 100 relay servers and currently set up a policy to run for 3-4 days and then review giving the user the option of delaying a reboot for approx 4 hours.

Some questions

  1. do you force reboots when patching?

  2. do you use policies or temporary actions?

  3. how often do you patch your laptops?

  4. do you treat laptops differently than workstations?
