Issues with July 10, 2018—KB4338818 (Monthly Rollup)

We are beginning to see service issues with July 10, 2018—KB4338818 (Monthly Rollup) - Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 and have had to remove this rollup from Windows 2008 R2 SP1 servers that are affected.

Known issues https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4338818/windows-7-update-kb4338818

This issue is supposedly corrected in the preview rollup patch for next month:
July 18, 2018—KB4338821 (Preview of Monthly Rollup)

This non-security update includes improvements and fixes that were a part of KB4338818 (released July 10, 2018) and also includes these new quality improvements as a preview of the next Monthly Rollup update.

Can you provide an update when July 18, 2018—KB4338821 (Preview of Monthly Rollup) for Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 will be available?

Thanks,
Scott

You’re probably already aware but KB4338821 was released shortly after this post.
