Issue with Adobe Reader 9.4.1 Fixlet

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with the Adobe 9.4.1 fixlet with regards to the relevance clause(s)?

All of our workstations are running 9.4.0 (there are 470 of them), unfortunately only 122 are reporting as needing the 9.4.1 update. None of the 470 have any other adobe product installed. I tried to create a custom copy of the fixlet and deleted all relevance clauses but this one to no avail.

(exists key whose (value “DisplayName” of it as string contains “Adobe Reader” AND ((it = “9.4.0”)) of (value “DisplayVersion” of it as string as version)) of key “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall” of registry)

I verified this valuse exists on the workstations.

could be 32 bit versus 64 bit… try of native registry?

Might also doublecheck the DisplayName and DisplayVersion values as they exist on the systems.

Have you tried running the relevance expressions with relevance debugger on the actual systems that have this problem? I have a test system here with largely identical regkey values with Adobe Reader 9.4.0 installed and the original relevance expressions and the one that you posted on the forum all come back as true (Meaning the console should pick it up eventually).

Also is there maybe something different with the non-relevant machines compared to the machine where the 9.4.1 fixlet works? Maybe this is something silly like the non relevant machines just haven’t reported in for a week.

thanks for the information. For some reason the workstations started reporting today. Not sure why, but it seems to be working now.
