Can I manage Windows CE 5 and 6 devices with BigFix?
I know that these devices are covered by maas360. But I want to know what can I do for these devices with BigFix. There are some operating systems as "Windows embedded *** " in the product compatibility reports but I can not see Windows CE there.
We do not support Windows CE as it cannot not run the BigFix agent - the OS is too limited. You would probably want to take the Mass360 route for that or investigate using BigFix management extenders… which you can actually create if you know the MS APIs, etc. I will say that we do not really have much documentation on this as, typically, things that sophisticated are handled through the Professional Services team.
