Tried searching for info on this but came up empty. I’m working on creating a scheduled activity to periodically email a stored report to a given email address. I get the error as follows (email address has been fudged)…
"3/14/2011 2:57:04 PM : Background process “BESEmailer.exe” returned non-zero exit code 9: Invalid e-mail address: ‘john.doe@abcde.abcde.mil’ "
It seems that either three-piece domains or a MIL suffix is perhaps triggering a data-entry check. Is there any way around this?
I’m sorry you’re seeing this problem, and the dev team is investigating it. Is this a new install, or did you upgrade from 7.x? If it’s an upgrade, did this problem only start occurring after you upgraded?
I plugged in a gmail.com address and received the same error, so I’m thinking that I’m barking up the wrong tree. Working with our Exchange group to make sure the two machines can talk to each other. Will keep you posted.
Alrighty, connection info was tweaked slightly and now the test emails are going through.
My two periodic stored reports are being lost in limbo however. They are currently set for every 15 minutes but I get nothing. Will research this a bit and start a new thread if needed since it seems the email address wasn’t the problem.
