Installing ILMT alongside BigFix Compliance infrastructure

Hi All,

We have an environment where HCL BigFix Compliance is set-up and being used. We also want to install ILMT in the same environment and had a few questions where we need your inputs:

  1. Can we use current BigFix Compliance infrastructure to collect inventory for IBM ILMT reporting?

  2. If the above option is not feasible due to license/module restrictions, can we use the BigFix agents currently reporting to BigFix Compliance server to also report to new ILMT root server? i.e., same agent reporting to both BigFix Compliance & ILMT server.

  3. What are other possible alternatives that can be tried, if we cannot use both current root server and BigFix agents?

IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) is free to install and configure with an existing BigFix infrastructure.
ILMT can use the existing BigFix clients and Root Server to setup, scan and report the inventory information
