We plan on installing the BigFix Client using the Client Deploy tool wizard. Do the clients require a database set up on each remote computer? I am planning out the installation and our DBA is required to shadow us using the SA privileges for the main BigFix and ILMT install. I am trying to figure out if I need them when I install the clients on the remote servers.

Negative, the clients do not need a database set up.

The Client Deployment Wizard sends an action to a Windows machine with the CDT installed (which can also be deployed via a task in the BES Support Site). The CDT machine then connects to each Windows endpoint to install the client. The network traffic listed in that doc is from the CDT machine to the target endpoints.
