Wolverine,

How you normally do this is select the ‘Computer Properties’ report. For the ‘Summarize’ property select ‘Installed Applications’. This should be all you need to do to create the report.

To get it to show only a specific set of computers, you would apply a filter to the report so that it only includes your set. Alternatively, you can group computers using Computer Groups on the report creation page.

Found this post in forum & tot somehow related - After upgrading our clients from BigFix Enterprise Client ver 5.x to 6.0.21.05, we are not able to see the “Installed Applications” options through the BigFix Enterprise Console running on ver 6.0.20.9. Any help here? Thx.

Hi lmf,

You are running pretty old versions… Did you recently upgrade to 6.0?

7.2 is the newest version and support ends for 6.0 when 8.0 is released…

I used to be able to produce the report described (except I chose to run the installed applicaitons list on a group of computers and it returned counts for me) in BigFix Web Reports 7, but with the rework in version 8 I can’t seem to produce it anymore. How can such a summary report be produced in version 8?
