Installed application report with last accessed property

dear all,

could someone help me out with creating installed application report with last access property. i can create a report with installed application but i can not find any property that said when the application last access/use.

can bigfix create such report ?

i remembered with sms we can query that application from DateLastAccessed of the apps which can give us the date that the application has been access on certain computer.

Hi fnovento,

Do you have the BigFix License and Inventory site subscribed? If so, have you activated application tracking? If so, you should be able to query which computers have run the application recently by looking at the “Custom Statistics” portion of the Dashboard.

hi ben,

i’m still young for bigfix :slight_smile: i just know that i have access to besconsole and also besreport. my first task is creating report of the last date of application which will be used to determine whether the uses are eligible or not using the applications.

could you tell me how can i check and using the tools that you’ve mentioned.

Try this:

  • In the Console go to “Dashboards” > “Application Usage Information” (if you don’t see it, it means you aren’t subscribed to the BigFix License and Inventory site).
  • If you haven’t started tracking the Application then you will need to start tracking the application.
  • After you start tracking, use the Custom Statistics at the bottom of the Dashboard.

i got this message:

this machine does not meet the minimum requirements for displaying chart and graphics…

any suggestion ?

can i run the report from bes web report instead of dashboard ? for accessing dashboard i need to remote a server machine but for bes web report i only need my browser to run.
