Installation of Office Language Pack using BigFix

Hi All,

I need to install office language pack using Bigfix. There is a requirements where I need to install UK office language pack using bigfix.

Can someone help me with this please?

I haven’t much dealt with language packs…do you have the command lines or DISM commands or whatever are required?

If you know how to do the thing you’re doing, we can help you with “how to do the thing in BigFix”.

I am pretty new to these things. But DISM or command I can look for. I am sure I can find but I believe we need to use Software Distribution. I could find one link about Windows language pack but the relevance does not apply to office:

Negative, I’m not familiar with Office language packs. You would need to obtain the installer files or commands. Once you have those I can help you translate it into BigFix actions but you’ll need to find the right command lines and downloads.

Someone suggested this:

Well you can use the ODT tool to download the language packs which you want and then configure the XML to install that for the users.
Need to create a custom action which will do the installation using setup.exe and parameters passed in the XML.
