Newer versions of Cloud Metadata APIs for both Azure and AWS carry a ton of useful data which client by default can’t retrieve at this time, so added an idea to request additional client inspectors to retrieve it in a similar manner it retrieves the instance ID which is used by the correlation engine. Please vote if you think it would be useful.

For AWS, we have been using the aws cli utility to pull all this metadata and then have a BigFix analysis to read it.
It would be tremendously helpful to be able to do the same in a native BigFix way.

Agreed and to be honest it is not much of stretch either. BigFix agent already has inspector that reads the instance-id the same exact way and it is used for correlating native and proxy records, so these would be just extension of those existent inspectors.
