Initiate Software Scan not applicable

Hi Team,
ILMT 9.2 Initiate Software Scan not relevant for BES client. Have checked in Analyze the relevance of a Fixlet and Task, relevance code 8 is showing False. Request you to please suggest.

Relevance 8 is used to detect the presence of the software catalog. It must be present on the computer before a scan can be scheduled.

You may need to re-run the Catalog Download action on that endpoint.

The software catalog may not be available if the BFI/ILMT scanners weren’t installed yet. I assume you installed the scanners successfully?

After re-run the catalog download action on all the endpoints. issue got resolved. Thanks for your help.

Hello, i´m facing the same problem but de catalog donwload is only applicable to the server, how can i download on the endpoints?

Did you create a custom fixlet? if so has you changed the folder wich the files are downloaded?

You may be referring to task ID 48: Software Catalog Update. This is to import a new catalog into ILMT/BFI that will be processed by next import. This task will be applicable only to the server where ILMT/BFI is installed.

Once the catalog is processed, a new task will be submitted automatically (default setup). This will show up in actions as : Catalog Download (Version: XXX).

This is one time action with no reapply. This action will download the catalog to the end points. If this action needs to be rerun for any reason, it should be created as a custom copy from existing action and then target it to the necessary endpoints.

Please confirm which task are you referring to.

Ok now i understood, i was indeed refering o task id 48, i created a custom copy of the Catalog Download and now it is working.
