Info For Particular application

Hi All,

I am new to Group,Recently we started to use BigFix in our Environment,

Apologies if any understanding wrong about bigfix.

I need to generate a report, that Those PC Installed with a particular Application.

I tried using the Create filter to include that particular application in the Installed Application in windows Analysis,

it generating the report but it also displaying all the other application which is installed in that PC.Report Look like messy for Us

Is it possible to generate the Report as below

Computer Name Application 1 Application 2

B1B1A003_SOCPHC

B1B1A004_SOCPHC

Hi Arasu,

Our DSS SAM product (http://www.bigfix.com/content/software-asset-management) is definitely the way to go if you want to do Application reports. You should check it out…

BigFix without DSS SAM will still let you get some parts of application inventory, but you don’t get the benefit of normalizing all the different product names/versions, comparing results to a catalog of known applications, application usage info, and much better application reporting.

This doesn’t exactly get you what you want, but you might lookat this custom report:

Thanks for the Reply,

We also having DSSAM Installed in our Environment,

But the Problem while generating report from DSSAM taking longer time to export compare to Web Reports,Sometime Failed to Export the Report( having around 7200 Clients).

So that only request, is there any way that we can generate via web reports.

Right now we found another solution for this after exporting report from the web reports,We are using own method to grep that particular software.

If possible in future release please include this option it will very grateful and thankful

Because why we are posting this Question means, Previously customer use SMS2003, Recently moved to Big Fix,So they are expecting the same type of format and result from Big fix.

Hi Arasu,

I would suggest contacting support about the slow report… I don’t believe it is supposed to take that long and something might be wrong.
