I would like to create groups of users within BigFix. This would be extremely useful when applying permissions. I could apply permissions to a BigFix User Group rather than to each user individually. This would be a huge time saver.
I recommended this feature at the beginning of 2008, so I figured I would suggest it again in 2009.

We have some ideas floating around about how we might start to do something like this (in particular, we know that many of you want tighter user integration with active directory). We were thinking it might be a good idea to pull some of you guys into a conference call and explore some ideas… You were at the top of our list… If anyone else has a lot of interest on this topic, let us know and we will include you as well…

This request was submitted two year ago by Curt, but I have the same needs today.
I would like to see functions for automatic BigFix operator creation based on AD groups and also assign user permissions based on AD groups, or user groups in BigFix based on AD groups.
