Hi Team,
Some of the IBM softwares which we didn’t installed on the system are getting shown in PVU Subcapacity Reporting . This is because of the software package file .
Even after , we deleted the software file and re-run the scans (both the software and capacity )
still , we can see them in PVU Subcapacity reporting . Because of which PVU Sub-capacity licensing is showing HIGH
We verified both the software installations as well as software classifications we didn’t find those entries on the system .

The PVU report shows the highest detected capacity over the report’s time period (aka, High Water Mark).
Take a look at the documentation for Software Classification and consider whether the detected software components should be suppressed: Excluding and suppressing software instances
Suppression
Suppress a component when it is improperly discovered. For example, when some files were not removed from the computer after the component was uninstalled. Suppression applies only to the selected component on the selected computer. A suppressed component is no longer assigned to any product, and thus does not contribute to metric utilization.
By default, suppressed components are not displayed on the Software Classification report. You can show them by removing one of the default report filters. Suppressed components are not included in the audit snapshot in order not to obscure the view. However, the components and suppression comments are included in the Audit Trail.
Suppressing will remove the false discovery from the PVU calculations.
