ILMT installation in physcial servers

Hi,

In my environment till now i have used the ILMT for pulling the pvu subcapacity\fullcapacity and other software products reports on only for virtual servers.
now i need to pull the reports for physical servers , can anyone please advise whether i have to follow the same process here or i need to do any extra tasks.

The process is the same. Install the BigFix client on these machines and subscribe them to the ILMT site. Then install the scanner and catalog, and initiate the scans and uploading of results.

So then no need of VM manger connections for physical servers?

That is correct, because physical servers are not managed by hypervisors.

In ILMT, VM Manager connections retrieve data about Virtual machines managed by hypervisors.
