Having issues with old data lingering in BFI. We have a 3rd party that is doing analysis of our numbers and we are seeing in excess of 1400 servers backdated to 2016 in the temaDB
BFI 9.2.16. Upgraded from 9.2.14 in Jan. Updated the catalogs and metric tables then also.
Stopped all existing scans and initiated v.16 scans on Jan 27 via policy. Ran the upload scan results fixlet via policy at the same time.
Confirmed that I am getting good imports nightly but the old data is not dropping out of temaDB.

Does anyone have any advice on how to clean up temaDB?

Have a look at the Advanced Server Setting: decommission_inactive_computers

Just noticed that a few of my vm manager connections were down also.
