ILMT(9.2) - Install or Upgrade Scanner getting failed : **Download error: Unexpected HTTP response: 403 Forbidden**

Hi All,

In my environment recently we installed the agents on two Linux servers, when I try to install the Scanner on those servers I am getting like this " Download error: Unexpected HTTP response: 403 Forbidden"

Could you help on this issue please.

That’s generally an error with the Proxy Server configuration used by the BigFix Server.
Check “BESAdmin.exe /setproxy” from the BigFix Server directory to see what proxy settings are configured on the server, and ensure they match what is needed on your network.

@JasonWalker Thanks for your response, could you please provide the Suitable Bigfix sample proxy configurations.

I am very new to BIgfix.

That very much depends upon your proxy server. On a Windows BigFix Root Server, running ‘BESAdmin.exe /setproxy’ will bring up a graphical user interface where you can enter your proxy address, port, any user credentials needed, and list of “inside” servers for which the Proxy should not be used.
