Identified OS in BFI scan

In BigFix Inventory v9.2.12.0 , most of my scanned endpoints have an “Installed Application” of the OS (i.e. Oracle Linux or Windows Server 2012). For CentOS endpoints, that doesn’t happen even though all 4 scan types completed successfully. Does a signature match on CentOS need to occur and if so, any idea why there are no signature for CentOS (none that I can see anyways…)

Hi,

Out of the box BFI can recognize most mayor players. CentOS can be added as a custom signature.
