I looked briefly at the TSM content. Interesting stuff. The key to providing this content usually along the lines of:
-Is it easy to get at new versions of the content?
-Are the downloads for the product publicly accessible?
-Is there accurate metadata associated with the patch (category, source severity, source release date, etc)
-Is the content consistent between version to version of patch? (like can we use the same relevance / actionscript but only update the download link, sha1, and size of a download?)
-Is the content super easy to test? (or is it so simple that we can forego testing entirely?)
-If content isn’t testable easily, can we at least automate it somehow?
-How difficult is the product to setup initially to do product testing on it?
I’ve heard of SPSS as well during my time in Berkeley. I think I recall it being some super advanced graphic statistical analysis software used by grad students or something like that.
