IBM Endpoint Manager for Mobile Devices is released!

Hi everybody,

I am very pleased to announce that our IBM Endpoint Manager for Mobile Devices is now released!

Have you ever thought it would be cool to manage your Android phone in BigFix? How about your boss’s iPad? Well now you can… All the great benefits of the BigFix platform for desktops/laptops/servers are now extended to mobile devices (phones/tablets).

If your company is struggling with how to manage all the mobile devices that people are bringing in, then take a look at our Mobile Device Management solution. Even if your company already has an MDM solution (probably from a small company), consider looking at the BigFix solution (I bet BigFix MDM has all the same functionality as your current solution and you can simplify to a single platform rather than separate products and separate teams). One of the nice things about how we implemented our mobile device management is that I think most all of you can easily figure out how to start managing your mobile devices because it works very similarly to how BigFix works in general (Fixlets, properties, dashboards, etc.)

The “IBM Mobile Client” apps are on the Apple AppStore and Google Play (Android Market). There is a Mobile Device Management Fixlet site ready for anyone that wants to try it out (contact your account rep for more info).

Here is an overview of the solution… Lots more data also available on this site (see the mobile keyword):
