IBM BigFix is pleased to announce an update to IBM BigFix Self-Service Application and the Software Distribution site.
Reason for Update:
IBM BigFix Self-Service Application changes:
- SSA can now load ClientUI dashboards (requires IBM BigFix version 9.5.7 or above)
- The loading screen will now utilize your rebranding and localization options.
Loading dashboards in the SSA can be configured using the Configure Self-Service Application page in the WebUI. Please refer to the documentation for more details.
Additionally, the Software Distribution site has been updated:
- Manage Software Distribution Dashboard: The BES Server Plugin and the Upload Maintenance Service are no longer necessary for IBM BigFix version 9.1 or above.
- Manage Software Distribution Dashboard: Fixed an issue where specifying SPB files may generate Tasks with incorrect actionscript.
- Client Dashboard for Software Offers: Will not process data if loaded in SSA.
Actions to Take:
Users of the IBM BigFix Self-Service Application will need to update this component.
