Hyper-V Integration Services

We are a Microsoft Hyper-V shop now on Server 2016, previously on Server 2012 R2. On the older OS upgrading the Hyper-V integration services was painful but doable, The updated package came in the form of an .iso file that was downloaded to the host, mounted on each VM, and installed. Each VM had to be touched and each had to be rebooted put as part of a patch cycle we could handle it.

With Server 2016 Microsoft incorporated the integration services upgrades for the VMs directly into Windows Update and we have not figured out how to get the upgrades to work in BigFix.

Since I don’t believe that this is something that BigFix can’t do I am left to conclude that my own ignorance is the problem. Can someone please enlighten me on how to upgrade the Hyper-V integration services on the VMs in a Server 2016 environment?
