How to tell if report traffic is being encrypted

Does anyone know how to verify client report traffic is being encrypted? I have the fixlet enabled that changes the report encryption to “Optional”. I also made sure the Encryption was enabled using the BES Administration tool.

Hi rmnetops,

You can doublecheck by using a network capture tool to make sure you don’t see the plain-text pieces of the report (like last report time, Fixlet info, action info, etc.)

I will give it a try. I was hoping there was an attribute somewhere in the console that could tell us if it successfully encrypted or not. Wireshark will work too.
