I want to install Microsoft office 2013 through bigfix. How can i install . cause it is not a single exe.
If possible please provide silent installation comaand. How can i intigrate key also.
like most installation packages, learn how to do it silently on one computer, and then replicate that and upload a process into bigfix. I’ll throw some tips by you to get you going for office in particular since it’s kind of a pain. there are likely several ways to do it, but here is the cliff notes on one way.
launch setup.exe /admin from the office package, build your custom msp configuration - many considerations here.
make sure to accept the eula, and to hit suppress modal, with no visibility options, else the install will hang with no visibility as to why
dump that msp file into the updates folder
upload to bigfix using the software distribution wizard - just upload the entire content of the installation folder and run setup.exe without any switches.
