Is there any process to regenerate the bigfix administrative password. Actually we have lost the password.
Do you mean the password to the private key, used when you run “BESAdmin”, or a console operator password?
If it’s a console operator, there is a way to reset it with BESAdmin, the certificate private key, and private key password.
If it’s the private key or private key password, that is not recoverable. You’ll be looking at building a new BigFix deployment with a new certificate and private key, and then migrating clients to the new deployment. I’d recommend engaging Professional Services to help if it’s a deployment of any large size or complexity.
