How to compleely remove old instnce of BF

Have a situation where an older instance of BF was installed on a client. While I uninstalled this old client from add/remove programs, I installed new version via bfclient.exe and masthead. The client connects to the old instance. How do I completely remove old instance to clear the way to install bf client to connect to new environment

You’ll want to use the BES Remove Utility for the version of BigFix you’re running.

These are also available for download on the BES releases site.

Hi @BregBF when you remove the BigFix client from Add and remove programs it only removes certain directories and few registries related to it. But when you use BES Remover tool it completely erases folder, registries and files.

I don’t know why it happens but we usually have seen this behavior. Thus its better to use the BES Remover tool to uninstall BigFix components.
