How to clear registrationlist.db in Bigfix Relays

In one of our Infra relay’s registrationlist.db I found computers registered as with very old date even in March 2016. And total computers in this list is ~9000 and number of computers reporting as of today (08172017) from this list is around 1300.

I am little worried now as I understand relay sends UDP to all registered computers, so in this case 8K which is not right.

Is there any mechanism to refresh the registrationlist.db file?

I would really appreciate if anyone can shed some light on the mechanism of registrationlist.db

Found one more registrationlist.db where it has 51k entries with data as old as March 2016. Any solution to this please?

Is this causing an issue?

I guess so because

  1. Size is 4mb.
  2. Rejecting any new connections saying MaxChild limit has reached which is set to 1000
