How to check number of machines not getting patches

There are a lot of ways to do it. The easiest way is to check which machines are still relevant for the patches or for the baselines containing the patches. You can do that from the console or from web reports.
That I know from web report and console as well. But manual tasks there, I want it automatically checking how many systems left for patch installation
How to check the baseline in web report
What kind of automation are you looking for? Are you looking to have an email sent after a baseline closes? Are you just looking for periodical reports to be sent out automatically? I’m not sure what you are asking.
In any case, you can filter on baseline content types in web reports:
